We are looking for a lunchtime supervisor to work 7.5 hours per week, term time, Monday‑Friday, within a team to make the lunchtime experience for our children positive, happy and healthy. We seek to nurture the infinite worth of every unique individual through love, respect and forgiveness, fostering an enduring passion for learning and an ability to live life in all its fullness. Our inclusive school community aims to enable our students to fulfil their true potential, developing people who make a positive impact on the world.
We Are Looking To Appoint Someone Who:
- Strives to make the lunchtime experience for our children as positive as possible by building good relationships and responding to playground issues fairly.
- Understands how to tackle challenging behaviour in children with respect and understanding, following the school’s Behaviour Policy.
- Has high expectations of healthy eating and table manners and supports the children to develop good eating habits.
- Understands our children and our community and builds supportive and respectful relationships with children while maintaining confidentiality and following the school’s Code of Conduct.
- Is prepared to undertake appropriate CPD to develop their skills, including First Aid training and annual Safeguarding / Child Protection training.
- Is an energetic individual who smiles often, engages with the children and models our values and ethos at all times.
- Understands the importance of Child Protection and is committed to the safeguarding of children’s welfare - both at home and in school.
