Teaching Assistant Level 2 and HLTA

HLTA – 2.25 hours per week, 1 day per week.

Grade G8 (£26,824 FTE, prorated to £1,368.50).

Teaching Assistant Level 2 – 20.25 hours per week, 5 days.

Grade D3 (£24,796 FTE, prorated to £11,385.37).

Fixed term until 31/08/2026 – 38 weeks per year.

Trinity Primary School, situated in the quaint village of Aldwincle, has recently achieved a Good rating in the Ofsted inspection of June 2023. We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join our team and support us in providing the very best in education for the children of Trinity. The role will involve some pastoral work, supporting achievement and inspiring pupils to reach their full potential.

We are seeking someone who

• Is enthusiastic, approachable, friendly and positive about their role in education and contribution to our whole‑school community.
• Is committed to supporting, motivating and challenging the learning of children of all abilities within the classroom.
• Has experience in a pastoral role and a willingness to train in this area.
• Works creatively with the teacher to establish an appropriate learning environment, meeting the needs of the pupils and curriculum.
• Is able to work effectively, flexibly and independently.
• Shows initiative and creativity in different learning situations.
• Is passionate about children’s learning and well‑being.
• Is keen to support the ethos of a Church school.
