We are seeking to appoint a friendly, enthusiastic, professional Teaching Assistant who understands the learning and pastoral needs of primary children. The role would entail supervising and supporting pupils in the learning environment, whilst assisting the teacher with the implementation of pupil education. We seek to nurture the infinite worth of every unique individual through love, respect and forgiveness, fostering an enduring passion for learning and an ability to live life in all its fullness. Our inclusive school community aims to enable our students to fulfil their true potential, developing people who make a positive impact on the world.

We Are Looking To Appoint Someone Who Is:

  • enthusiastic, approachable and friendly
  • will ensure all children feel safe, happy and able to learn
  • will create a purposeful, orderly and supportive learning environment
  • will support the teacher in management of pupil behaviour and understand how to tackle challenging behaviour in children with respect and understanding, following the school’s Behaviour Policy
  • is supportive of the ethos of a Church and Trust school
  • understands our children and our community and is able to build supportive and respectful relationships with children whilst maintaining confidentiality and following the school’s Code of Conduct
  • is prepared to undertake appropriate CPD to develop their skills including First Aid training and annual Safeguarding / Child Protection training
  • understands the importance of Child Protection and is committed to the safeguarding of children’s welfare - both at home and in school
