We are excited to be recruiting a brand-new Teaching Assistant to support children with SEND in KS2. The successful candidate will support children in the classroom as well as delivering targeted interventions to specific children to enhance their academic and emotional development. The ideal candidate will work with a caring, passionate and professional attitude, along with a good sense of humour whilst upholding our high standards in school.
We Are Seeking Someone Who:
- Is enthusiastic, approachable, friendly and positive about their contribution to our whole school community;
- Has the ability to work confidently, effectively, flexibly and independently;
- Has previous experience of working with and supporting children of relevant age in a school environment;
- Has good communication skills and a willingness to work constructively as part of a supportive team;
- Possesses good Literacy and Numeracy skills;
- Can build successful working relationships with both children, staff and parents;
- Has a personal commitment to on-going professional development;
- Shows initiative and creativity in different situations;
- Is passionate about children’s safety and well-being;
- Is keen to support the ethos of a Church school.
