We are seeking to appoint an inspirational Senior Teacher to be part of our supportive and dedicated senior leadership team from Easter 2026, or September 2026.

About The Role

  • Teaching responsibility (Salary negotiable) with Leadership paid 1 day per week.

We Are Looking For Someone Who

  • Has recent, successful experience in the classroom and is looking for an opportunity to take the next step in their leadership career.
  • Able to create a stimulating and inviting learning environment adapted to suit the needs of all pupils in their own classroom and across the whole school.
  • Has the skills to lead, improve and sustain academic achievement for all children.
  • Has high expectations for children’s learning and behaviour, and can foster collaborative working.
  • Is up to date with current research around Quality First Teaching in EYFS, KS1 and KS2, specifically Rosenshine's pedagogy.
  • Has the ability to develop and foster effective relationships with all stakeholders and external agencies and is an excellent communicator.
  • Is excited and keen to experience leading a team, developing the vision, and having the drive to successful continuous and evolving school development.
  • Supportive of the ethos of a Church and Trust school.
  • Has a strong sense of belonging to Barby CE Primary and will support the headteacher by embracing opportunities to be involved in wider school community engagement.
  • Is able to think strategically and has a solution based approach to school development.
