St Luke’s CE Primary school is situated on the outskirts of Northampton. We are a happy school with a strong Christian ethos. We are a 2-form entry school with 400 children on roll. We are proud to be a member of Peterborough Diocese Education Trust (PDET) and in our last Ofsted inspection, September 2025, we received good.

An opportunity has arisen for a teaching assistant to join our school. We are looking for an inspirational professional, to work within our school. We are proud to be recruiting for a caring, passionate and professional Teaching Assistant, to join our team, who is eager to provide learning and pastoral care of our children.

Responsibilities:
  • Is enthusiastic, approachable, friendly and positive about their role in education and contribution to our whole school community.
  • Can work creatively with the teacher to establish an appropriate learning environment, meeting the needs of the pupils and curriculum.
  • Has the ability to work effectively, flexibly, and independently.
  • Shows initiative and creativity in different learning situations.
  • Is keen to support the ethos of a Church school.
  • Understands the importance of Child Protection and is committed to the safeguarding of children’s welfare - both at home and in school.
