The predicted salary is between 31650 - 40000 £ per year.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with various members of the school communities, including agencies, school staff, children and parents, to be a pivotal supportive link to help overcome barriers to learning.
  • Understand the importance of Child Protection and be committed to safeguarding children’s welfare at home and in school.
  • Promote an effective relationship between home and school life for both children and parents.
  • Have knowledge and awareness of opportunities and resources to support children and families in need.
  • Maintain effective and efficient lines of communication between various groups and organisations throughout the community to ensure essential support is available for families.
  • Understand procedures and systems involved in the role, including Social Services, Child Protection, Education Welfare Service policies and reporting standards.
  • Maintain an approachable, controlled and focused manner to relay a positive and optimistic attitude when supporting those in challenging situations.
  • Possess previous experience of working with children and their families.
  • Be able to work effectively, flexibly and independently, with initiative and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Support the ethos of a Church school.
