The predicted salary is between 31650 - 40000 £ per year.

This role presents a unique opportunity to help address the needs of our children and their families, to help overcome barriers to learning.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with various members of the school communities, including agencies, school staff, children and parents, to be a pivotal supportive link to help overcome barriers to learning.
- Understand the importance of Child Protection and be committed to safeguarding children’s welfare at home and in school.
- Promote an effective relationship between home and school life for both children and parents.
- Have knowledge and awareness of opportunities and resources to support children and families in need.
- Maintain effective and efficient lines of communication between various groups and organisations throughout the community to ensure essential support is available for families.
- Understand procedures and systems involved in the role, including Social Services, Child Protection, Education Welfare Service policies and reporting standards.
- Maintain an approachable, controlled and focused manner to relay a positive and optimistic attitude when supporting those in challenging situations.
- Possess previous experience of working with children and their families.
- Be able to work effectively, flexibly and independently, with initiative and strong interpersonal skills.
- Support the ethos of a Church school.
