15 hours as a Teaching Assistant (D3 to D4) and 12.50 hours as a HLTA (G8 to G12), working 39 weeks per year. These hours include an afternoon of PPA time for the sport leader.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and versatile individual to join our small Church of England primary school in a combined role of Teaching Assistant and PE Instructor.
The role involves supporting teaching and learning in the classroom from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by delivering high‑quality PE lessons and physical activities from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm.

- Understands our children and our community and is able to build supportive and respectful relationships with children whilst maintaining confidentiality and following the school’s Code of Conduct.
- Is prepared to undertake appropriate CPD to develop their skills, including First Aid training and annual Safeguarding / Child Protection training.
- Understands the importance of Child Protection and is committed to the safeguarding of children’s welfare – both at home and in school.
- Experience as a HLTA or as a PE lead would be desirable.
