Two opportunities to join Staverton CE Primary School: Class Teacher (start April 2026) and EYFS Teacher (start September 2026). We are an established primary academy at the heart of the community with a responsive and tailored curriculum, aimed at helping every child reach their full potential.
We are seeking two highly motivated, enthusiastic and excellent teachers to join our team, with one role emphasizing EYFS and starting in September 2026 and a second class teacher starting in April 2026. Responsibilities
- Contribute to a stimulating and inviting learning environment that meets the needs of the pupils.
- Lead a team, develop a shared vision and drive improvements in education and pupil outcomes.
- Build effective relationships with pupils, parents and external agencies to support pupil progress and smooth transitions into school.
- Deliver high-quality teaching in line with current research around Quality First Teaching and Early Years practice (Nursery and Reception).
- Contribute to safeguarding and the welfare of all pupils in line with school policies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Enthusiastic, experienced, approachable and friendly.
- Up to date with current research around Quality First Teaching and Early Years practice (Nursery and Reception).
- Knowledge of the EYFS Framework, including Early Reading.
- Ability to develop effective relationships with pupils, parents and external agencies to support pupils’ transitions.
- Ability to lead a team, develop the school’s vision and drive it forward.
- Ability to create a stimulating and inviting learning environment.
- Supportive of the ethos of a Church and Trust school.
- Experience of Read Write Inc is desirable.
