The successful candidate will be motivated, with a drive to support our children’s personal and academic progression. We encourage each other to reach our full potential within a Christian atmosphere and seek to appoint a candidate who shares our passion for enabling all our children to flourish.

We have been proud to be part of the Wilby community for over 170 years, but in 2023 we secured the opportunity to move into a fantastic new purpose-built school building on the Glenvale Park development. We moved to this new space in September 2024 and it is an exciting time for us as we continue to grow and expand.

We are looking for an ambitious candidate who has a proven record of improving the outcomes of children in Upper Key Stage 2. You will be working closely with your colleagues and the SLT to support shared best practice, effective communication and behaviour management, and contributing to a culture where pupils experience a positive and enriching school life.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has a proven record of delivering Quality First Teaching
  • Is confident in using a range of behaviour management strategies
  • Works to improve outcomes for all children in their care and collaborates closely with teams in school to provide information, support and interventions to ensure all children are successful
  • Makes learning fun, engaging and memorable
  • Is reflective and continually seeks to improve their practice
  • Is a teacher who understands our children and our community and is able to build supportive relationships with parents
  • Is an energetic individual who smiles often, challenges positively and drives change for the benefit of all

In Return, We Can Offer You:

  • Excellent CPD as part of the Peterborough Diocese Education Trust (PDET)
  • A supportive environment where contributions and ideas are encouraged and valued
  • Happy, motivated children who are eager to learn
  • A collaborative and supportive team within the school and across the Trust
  • Access to a vast array of employee benefits and recognition systems via our partnership with Vivup
  • The opportunity to cross the threshold to the Upper Pay Range, in line with the Trust’s pay policy

If this sounds like the perfect opportunity and you would like to join our school family, we would love to hear from you. Visits to the school are strongly encouraged; please call 01933 276491 to arrange a visit.
