Stamford College is seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring Lecturer in Sport & Public Services to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator, sports coach, football development professional, or industry specialist who wants to develop the next generation of sports professionals. We are particularly interested in candidates with football coaching experience and would welcome applications from individuals who have worked within women's and girls' football programmes, clubs, academies, community projects or talent pathways.

About the Role:

  • You’ll deliver engaging teaching across our Sport and Public Services programmes while helping students develop the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to progress into higher education, employment and careers within the sports industry.
  • Alongside classroom delivery, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to practical coaching sessions, support enrichment activities and help shape exciting opportunities for students with an interest in football and sports development.

  • Experience working within sport, coaching or public services
  • Football coaching qualifications and practical coaching experience
  • Experience coaching within women's or girls' football (desirable)
  • A teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
  • A passion for developing young people and helping them succeed
