About the role
As a Nursery Nurse, you’ll play an important part in supporting children’s development across all areas. Working as part of a dedicated room team, you’ll help deliver high-quality care and learning experiences, supporting children’s physical, emotional, social, and intellectual growth. You’ll act as a key person for a group of children, building strong relationships with them and their families, and helping to ensure every child feels safe, valued, and supported. From planning fun and engaging activities to supporting daily routines, no two days will be the same.
What you’ll bring
- Experience working with children aged 0–5, including those with additional needs
- A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
- A positive, enthusiastic approach and a genuine passion for working with children
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
You’ll enjoy a 36-hour working week across 38 weeks per year, supporting a healthy work-life balance in a friendly, supportive nursery environment where you’ll feel part of the team.
