About the role:
As a Lecturer in Electrical, you will deliver engaging and practical learning across a range of courses from Level 1 through to Level 4 (HND). You will use your real‑world experience to bring learning to life, helping students develop the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to succeed in industry. This role also involves supporting learners throughout their journey, monitoring their progress and contributing to course delivery and development.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver high‑quality teaching that meets learners’ needs and professional standards
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons using your industry experience
- Assess student work and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Support and motivate learners to achieve their goals
- Track student progress and set SMART targets
- Participate in student recruitment activities such as open evenings
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessment and progress
- Promote a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment
- Ensure health and safety standards are upheld at all times
Qualifications:
- Recent industry experience in Electrical
- Level 3 or Level 4 qualification (or higher) in Electrical or related field
- Minimum Level 2 Maths and English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine interest in developing and supporting others
