We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team in Peterborough.
You will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our students, staff and visitors, working across classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets and communal areas.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning designated areas to a high standard.
- Carrying out regular toilet checks and responding to spillages.
- Undertaking external cleaning, including litter picking and bin emptying when required.
- Supporting deep cleaning and covering for colleagues when needed.
- Using cleaning equipment and machinery safely.
- Following health and safety and hygiene procedures.
- Working flexibly and responding positively to changing requirements.
- Providing a friendly and professional service to students, staff and visitors.
About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in cleaning or a relevant environment.
- Has an understanding of health and safety and safe working practices.
- Can work independently and as part of a team.
- Has good communication and customer service skills.
- Is reliable, flexible and well organised.
- Takes pride in maintaining high standards.
You will also need to demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and creating a safe environment for students and staff.
