You will take the operational lead for OneFile, using performance data to monitor progress, identify areas for improvement and support timely achievement.

  • Lead the implementation and monitoring of OneFile, using reports and data to track apprentice progress, engagement and timely achievement.

  • Monitor the quality and impact of apprenticeship progress reviews, ensuring employers are fully involved.

  • Ensure effective off-the-job training, accurate audit trails and apprentice readiness for End-Point Assessment.

  • Maintain robust quality assurance processes and compliance with Awarding Organisation, Ofsted, ESFA and IEG requirements.

  • Monitor key performance measures including attendance, retention, achievement and timely EPA completion, implementing interventions where required.

  • Lead curriculum development and reform to ensure apprenticeship provision responds to industry developments and local and regional skills needs.

  • Build strong relationships with employers and work with commercial teams to identify skills gaps, grow partnerships and increase apprenticeship recruitment.

  • Coach and develop staff, ensuring appropriate qualifications, CPD, performance management and professional standards are maintained.

You will bring strong line management experience, including performance management, recruitment, appraisals and attendance management, alongside evidence of successfully leading teams and delivering sustained improvements in achievement and learner experience.

With excellent knowledge of curriculum development, quality assurance and current Further Education initiatives, you will be confident analysing performance data, setting priorities and communicating effectively with colleagues, apprentices and employers.

Experience of managing learner qualifications through e-portfolio systems will also be essential.

If you are an ambitious and supportive leader who is passionate about technical education and wants to make a lasting impact on apprentices, colleagues and employers, this is an excellent opportunity to take the next step in your career.
