What You\’ll Do

  • Manage a diverse caseload of planning and highways matters
  • Draft and negotiate Section 106 agreements and planning obligations
  • Attend Planning Committee meetings on a rota basis
  • Advise on complex development proposals, including major regeneration schemes
  • Handle planning appeals, enforcement matters, and judicial review challenges
  • Work on highways agreements, adoption processes, and transport infrastructure projects
  • Collaborate with planning officers, developers, and external stakeholders on major projects
  • Support the delivery of the Council\’s growth agenda through robust legal frameworks
