What You\’ll Do
- Manage a diverse caseload of planning and highways matters
- Draft and negotiate Section 106 agreements and planning obligations
- Attend Planning Committee meetings on a rota basis
- Advise on complex development proposals, including major regeneration schemes
- Handle planning appeals, enforcement matters, and judicial review challenges
- Work on highways agreements, adoption processes, and transport infrastructure projects
- Collaborate with planning officers, developers, and external stakeholders on major projects
- Support the delivery of the Council\’s growth agenda through robust legal frameworks

What We\’re Looking For
- Qualified Solicitor with current practicing certificate, Barrister, or Fellow of CILEx
- Strong planning law experience with knowledge of development processes
