All about the Role


As our new Processes and Information Officer you will provides data, reporting, and business process support to the Statutory Assessment and Monitoring Service, working closely with the Service Manager to improve performance and ensure statutory requirements are met.


Your main duties will include analysing service data, producing management reports and performance information, monitoring trends and compliance, maintaining systems and processes, and providing insight to support service planning, decision-making, and continuous improvement.

The Statutory SEND Team is dedicated to ensuring that children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) receive the support they need to achieve their best outcomes. We work collaboratively with families, educational settings, health professionals and other partners to coordinate the Education, Health and Care (EHC) needs assessment process and maintain high-quality Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).


Our team is committed to delivering a child-centred, inclusive and legally compliant service, placing the voices of children, young people and their families at the heart of decision-making. Through partnership working, careful case management and a focus on positive outcomes, we strive to ensure that every child and young person can access the right support, at the right time, in the right place.


All about You



  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritise workloads, manage systems effectively, maintain accurate records, and meet tight deadlines and statutory timescales.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues, interpret and analyse information accurately, implement solutions, and present information in a clear and understandable way.

  • Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, while remaining calm under pressure. Proficient in ICT and data management, including producing statistical reports in various formats and supporting senior managers and Heads of Service.

  • Experience of supporting a Head of Service/Team Manager.
