We are looking for a part time Information and Advice Officer to join our busy assessment team. In this role you will offer administrative and logistical support to the Team Manager and your team, for two and a half days per week (1/2 day Weds and Thurs & Fri). Our Assessment Teams are a rewarding but fast-paced environment to work in. We are committed to ensuring that children, young people and families in our community receive a positive and timely service, proportionate to their needs and informed by their own expertise.
The work is rich, varied and demands a high level of multi-agency working, often to tight timelines. In this role you would be responsible for organising and minuting strategy meetings, liaising with partners and requesting and following up information from other agencies. You will have a role in ensuring that the allocated social worker is supported to obtain all the information needed, to make a timely and informed decision for the children and families they work with. The role is varied and every day is different. The relationship you build with your colleagues, and the support and drive you bring will be crucial to the day to day functioning of the team. This role does not include working directly with children and families and is office based, with remote working arrangements in place.

You will also be supported by a permanent Team Manager, who will provide you with a consistent and reliable leadership.
