Senior Practitioner in Family Safeguarding Tight teams, manageable caseloads and life changing results is what gets us out of bed in the morning. Its a bold statement to make but we believe in better outcomes for children and young people, allied with job satisfaction for our team of dedicated social workers. Even better is the relocation package on offer at Peterborough, which includes the possibility for removal, storage and legal expenses, disturbance allowance and a lodging allowance for up to six months. As for the role and team, you might be aware that in 2023 Peterboroughs Childrens Services received an OFSTED judgement of inadequate but within that report it was highlighted that children in need of protection, and those with more complex needs, receive appropriate support from the family safeguarding teams. And for most children, it was highlighted that risks and needs are identified, and interventions are provided at the right level. But we always want to improve and expand the Family Safeguarding team, ensuring we keep caseloads at a manageable level and for that reason, we are recruiting.
