About the role:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Parts Interpreter to join our team and work primarily from our Ford Dealership at Artarmon. The successful applicant will have a positive can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.

This is a great opportunity to commence a career in the automotive industry. No experience is required, all training will be provided in-house.

You will be trained to perform the following duties:

  • Liaise with customers to assist with Spare Parts and Accessories enquiries
  • Use of Manufacturer EPC (Electronic Parts Catalogue) to determine required parts.
  • Use of online Manufacturer’s portal to locate and source parts.
  • Producing quotes for Panel Shops and Mechanical Workshops
  • Processing of Customer orders and/or quotes through the DMS system (ERA)
  • Assist with stock checking and order processing
  • Working as part of a team to provide & maintain a high level standard of customer service

The successful candidate will need the following:

  • Full unrestricted work rights in Australia
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Good computer skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Passion for the automotive industry
  • Commitment to ongoing development and mentoring
