- Salary: £30,444 per annum FTE; Actual pay per year: 9 hours £6,103; 6 hours £4,069.
- Hours: 3 evenings a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday 7pm-10pm Autumn and Spring Term; 8pm-10pm Summer term). Term-time only.
- Contract: Permanent.
- Start Date: TBC.

Information About The Post:
Peter Symonds is a vibrant sixth form college in Winchester rated outstanding by Ofsted. We have two boarding houses accommodating over 70 boarders during term time, with exclusive access to our on-site gym and sports hall three evenings per week.
As Boarding Gym Supervisor & Sports Coordinator, you will:
- Support students in using gym equipment safely and effectively, encouraging active lifestyles and supervising safe practice.
- Lead the planning and delivery of a varied programme of sports activities for boarders.
Ideally you will hold a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification and have previous gym experience. Training can be provided for the right candidate with enthusiasm and a good working knowledge of fitness. You will need to be well organised, confident working with 16–19-year-olds, and willing to undertake first aid training. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain or develop experience in the fitness industry. There may be flexibility in the specific evenings or timings to suit the successful applicant.
