This is a full-time, on-site role for an experienced Print Estimator based in Burnley. This position is much more focused on the estimating and production side of the business, making it ideal for someone with a strong technical print background who enjoys the costing and pricing, as well as talking through print work and projects with clients and offering good customer service.
The role involves:
- Calculating costs of production, materials, etc.
- Working closely with production staff and print partners to ensure work comes in on time.
- Managing quotations and job information through our Tharstern system.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and commercially minded individual with strong knowledge of print and finishing processes to join a dynamic team. Reporting directly to the MD, you will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive commercial pricing for the Burnley site. You will play a key role in delivering timely estimates, offering technical guidance, and ensuring the company maximises commercial return while maintaining exceptional service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with sales teams and customers to fully understand project requirements.
- Produce detailed and accurate estimates using agreed production routes, pricing, etc.
- Provide technical and sales support to customers.
- Respond proactively to email and telephone enquiries.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records.
- Manage and prioritise the estimating inbox to ensure timely responses.
- Ensuring customers have good communication on their projects.
About You:
- Proven experience producing estimates within the print industry.
- Strong knowledge of print and finishing processes.
- Commercially aware with excellent attention to detail.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
- Able to work independently and use initiative.
