Unlike most other dentists, we offer an on-call emergency service, which connects you in your time of need directly to a dentist 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. As patient convenience is at the heart of what we do, we offer regular dental appointments on evenings and weekends as well as late-night hygiene appointments every Monday & Wednesday.
Our team is growing in order to provide our patients the very best treatment and care. The Peter Brash Dental Care team currently comprises enhanced and specialist care in implant dentistry, gum disease treatment, oral surgery, general dental care, endodontics, orthodontics, dental anxiety, cosmetic dentistry, and facial aesthetics. We are also the only clinic in the country to be offering virtual reality services for smoking cessation, sugar addiction and dental phobias.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and hard working experienced dental nurse to join our family run dental practice in Gerrards Cross. As an experienced dental nurse, you will work closely with the general dentist and specialist dental teams to provide exceptional patient care and support. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with dental procedures
- Maintaining a clean and sterile environment
- Providing training & teaching for other dental nurses
- Ensuring patient comfort
Your working days and hours will be as follows:
- Monday: 8am - 6.15pm
- Tuesday: 8am-5pm
- Wednesday: 8am-7.15pm
- Thursday: 8am-5pm
- Friday: 8am-5pm
- 1 x Saturday per month: 10-3pm

Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing instruments and materials
- Sterilise and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits
- Take and develop dental x-rays as directed by the dentist
- Provide chair side assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar
- Perform general administrative tasks as needed
- Support the team's social media presence
Experience:
- MUST be an experienced dental nurse with at least 2 years of experience
- MUST have knowledge on Software of Excellence dental software
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to provide exceptional patient care with empathy and compassion
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
