If you are an experienced Assessor looking to continue your career as a Learning and Development Coach, we want to hear from you. Due to continued business growth, we are now looking to expand our team of Assessors (Learning and Development Coaches) for our specialist Engineering division based at the training centre in Havant.
As an Assessor, you will be visiting apprentices in the workplace and have the option to work remotely between site visits.
Our Engineering Team
At PETA, we are looking for individuals who want to make a difference. We work with some of the largest engineering businesses on the South Coast to develop the engineers of the future. Our apprenticeship programmes have helped thousands of people kick start their careers and go on to be hugely successful engineers. Joining PETA as an Engineering Assessor, you will report into our highly experienced Team Lead, be supported by our Engineering Training Manager and work alongside our fantastic team of teaching staff and administrators. We have an incredibly close knit, supportive team who always put the best interest of our learners first.
Your New Role
Joining our team as an Engineering Assessor, you will be responsible for supporting a cohort of apprentices working towards industry led standards. To create a successful partnership between the learner, employer, and PETA, you will need to be:

- Able, in conjunction with the employer and learner, to develop realistic and achievable learning plans that combine ‘on’ and ‘off’ the job training activities and work‑related outcomes
- Results driven, focused on monitoring progress, and implementing corrective strategies should the learners progress not be on track
