PET-Xi is a national training provider working in schools across the UK to deliver fun and educational intervention days for primary and secondary schools. We currently have Motivational Classroom Trainers from all walks of life; musicians, actors, artists, ex-army, semi-pro sportspeople, motivational speakers and more! All with the same goal: inspire and engage the young people of today. This role is extremely enjoyable and massively rewarding! You would form part of a small team – working in tandem with our amazing curriculum delivery experts in the classroom, presenting in harmony together, helping students and delivering outstanding lessons! In the classroom, working as a team of 3, we run our innovative, multi-award-winning lessons. We motivate and inspire students, providing positive learning experiences, creating a culture of engagement and the inspiration to achieve, but most importantly … WE MAKE THE LESSONS FUN! We have, over the last 28 years, helped over 250,000 students nationwide, delivering intensive courses and helping them to build confidence and achieve the results they deserve! The work is offered on a self-employed/sub-contract basis and is completely flexible so can fit around other work/life commitments. Summary of duties for the role: • Building rapport with our learners • Motivating and building confidence in learners • Working as part of a team • Always staying alert and attentive to learners’ needs • Drawing out ideas and starting discussions when learners go off task * Behaviour and classroom management REQUIREMENTS Essential Experience and Skills: * Professionalism is essential * Excellent timekeeping * A pro-active attitude * Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team * Excellent people skills * Confidence to support any learner and break barriers to learning * A clear understanding of safeguarding expectations and professional boundaries * A commitment to training and professional development * An enhanced DBS Certificate that is on the update service Preferred experience: • Four GCSE’s grade C or above • Previous experience in education and training is preferable, but not essential as training will be provided • Full UK Driving Licence is advantageous, but not essential to the role • Experience in Microsoft office We work Nationally so the ability to travel up to one hour or stay overnight is an advantage.
