About the Role
As an Employment Coach, you’ll support unemployed individuals to move closer to the job market and into meaningful work. You’ll manage your own caseload, build strong relationships, and go the extra mile to help participants achieve their goals. Your responsibilities will include:
- Guiding participants to overcome barriers and creating SMART action plans
- Identifying transferable skills and matching individuals to suitable roles
- Signposting to specialist support services (debt, mental health, careers advice)
- Creating and updating CVs, cover letters, and job applications
- Preparing participants for interviews and assessments
- Supporting job searches and ensuring online profiles are up‑to‑date
- Identifying skill gaps and recommending relevant training or courses
- Working closely with the Employer Engagement Team to source job opportunities
- Maintaining accurate records on case management and learner systems
- Delivering excellent customer service while meeting contractual compliance
