Role Description
This is an on-site role based in Coventry for both Teachers and Trainers. The role involves connecting young people to their true identity and potential, delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons and training sessions to NEETs, alternative provision learners and post 16 SEND learners. Qualifications
- You must care about these learners and advocate for them and believe in them and the reality of second chances above all else. Candidates should possess strong engagement and/or Teaching and Training skills (two types of roles available), with experience delivering structured learning to young people and/or adults.
- If you want to apply as a teacher, you should have solid Lesson Planning and Education expertise, including the ability to design differentiated and learner-centered sessions.
- Candidates should demonstrate excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage learners, collaborate with colleagues, and liaise with partners.
- For teachers, relevant teaching or training qualifications (e.g., PGCE, QTS, DTLLS, PTLLS, or equivalent) and experience in school, FE, or work-based learning settings are highly beneficial.
- Strong classroom or group management skills, a learner-focused mindset, and commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice are essential.
- Experience working with NEET learners, alternative provision, or apprenticeship programmes, and familiarity with UK education frameworks, is an advantage.
