A busy, well-equipped independent Southampton small animal veterinary practice is looking for a Veterinary Nurse/Nursing Assistant. Full or part-time roles are available. Experience with animals is essential.

The role is broad-ranging, covering client interactions together with working directly with animals during routine consultations and in-hospital care. You will work within a small, friendly team and support the Vet directly during consultations, examinations and surgical procedures.

Capability to work safely, competently and effectively with a wide range of domestic animals is required, including dogs, cats, rabbits, exotics, reptiles, fish and birds.

The successful applicant will be energetic and proactive with a mature, sensible and caring approach to duties. A friendly and efficient telephone and personal manner is required.
