Our Group: At Pet Practice we are an exciting, independent, growing veterinary group that’s been giving a fresh look to working in the veterinary sector for the past seventeen years now. Our Crowborough Vacancy: Our brand new Crowborough surgery is finishing construction and opens this autumn. It has all the facilities you would expect of a modern practice including digital radiography, ultrasonography and an Idexx in-house integrated laboratory. There are dedicated surgical facilities for both our use and that of our visiting specialist surgeons. We are located adjacent to a new and already busy Pets Corner pet shop & grooming salon providing excellent footfall. We need dynamic vets with at least two years’ experience to come on board and join our team. This initial shared rota will be sole charge but alongside our owner Ben and our visiting Team of peripatetic surgeons. There is also always plenty of support from our thirty surgeons and eighty staff across the group as well as the on-site nurses. We really do all act as a team, something we’re proud of.
The Package: Up to £80K salary commensurate with experience and hours. Full-time = 4 day week and 1:2 Saturdays; Part-time hours also available. No on call, no working Sundays, no working bank holidays. Up to six weeks leave in addition to the above. Loyalty bonus scheme. Staff recruitment reward scheme. CPD encouraged with a generous budget. RCVS and VDS fees paid. Staff animals treated at cost. 25-35% Pets Corner shop discount.
