Pest Management Biologist Vacancy
Due to continued growth, we have an exciting job opportunity to join our expanding business. We are looking for a qualified biologist to assist with audits, troubleshooting, training and other varied consultancy roles.

Pesttrain provide support and assistance across all pest types and industry sectors where there is a need to practice and demonstrate due diligence in the prevention and management of public-health pests.
We provide independent auditing, consultancy and training to a range of high profile and high-risk clients. Services include biologist audits (conforming to BRC, M&S & Customer specifications etc.); Expert witness; New product support & marketing, Training and troubleshooting problem sites.
The vacancy is for a permanent, full-time post, however we may also consider those applicants looking for a part-time position.

Key Responsibilities
o  Conduct comprehensive independent pest assessments and implement effective control strategies tailored to client needs.
o  Collaborate with clients to develop integrated pest management strategies and contracts that focus on prevention and sustainability.
o  Working alongside some of the UK’s leading brands, assist with troubleshooting problem or high-risk sites to help the contractor gain control.
o  Independent auditing of the pest management systems to ensure that the service delivered matches the specification and meets best practice standards.
o  Provide training and support to the wider Industry with classroom training, remote technical support, field mentoring days and Industry events.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Â Demonstrable experience as a pest management biologist
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A pest risk approach to auditing; helping reduce the risk of infestations on customer’s sites, rather than simply box ticking
- Willingness to travel (extensively in the UK and potentially further afield)
- Flexibility. Some travel may require overnight stays
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic work environment
Desirable Skills & Qualifications
·      Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Entomology, Environmental Science, or a related field
·      A good sense of humour!
Package
£40-£50k per annum based on experience & qualifications
