Nestled between scenic Battersea Park, the river Thames and the iconic Battersea Power Station, Pestana Chelsea Bridge Hotel is a 4-star hotel in London\’s trendy Chelsea Wharf Development.

With 217 bedrooms, 8 meeting rooms, restaurant, bar and gym.

Main tasks

  • Proactively uncovers new prospects for the Hotel and maximizes conversion of business in line with the hotel\’s budgetary goals.
  • Organizes and plans client meetings, fam trips, site inspections, sales blitzes, mailings, giveaways, and other new creative activities to establish and maintain a healthy client relationship and generate business.
  • Lead, train, motivate, and mentor the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture that achieves sales targets and objectives.
  • Responds to corporate RFPs and contracting Corporate Accounts.
  • Responds, converts, and contracts MICE/Groups inquiries.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and marketing collateral to effectively communicate the hotel\’s value proposition
  • Assists in preparing and compiling data for the strategic sales plan, annual goals, sales and marketing budget, forecasts, action plans, and other reports as required.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, adapting sales strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including marketing, operations, and revenue management, to ensure alignment and maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Ensures the client database and the information in Opera and Salesforce are always accurate and up to date.
  • Prepares bi-weekly sales reports to present to the General Manager.

JOB CRITERIA

  • Proactivity, autonomy, and creativity
  • Positive attitude and mindset.
  • Flexibility and a \’can do\’ mentality.
  • Has a \’hunter\’ profile for new business and is commercially driven.
  • Experienced in the local market with a strong focus on corporate and MICE business.
  • At least 1.5 year of experience within Sales.
  • Preferably experienced in Meetings & Events.
  • Preferably has worked with Opera, Salesforce and Cvent before.
  • Must be fluent in English.
  • Lives within London
