Pestana Chelsea Bridge Hotel is looking for a confident, guest-focused, and hands-on Front Office Supervisor to join our Front Office team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, leading by example, and creating a welcoming and professional experience for every guest. You will play an important role in the day-to-day operation of Reception, supporting the team and helping to ensure smooth arrivals, departures, and guest service throughout the shift.
What you will be doing:
- Supervising the day-to-day operation of the Front Office during your shift
- Welcoming guests and ensuring a warm, professional, and efficient check-in and check-out experience
- Supporting the Front Office team and leading by example in service delivery
- Handling guest queries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Assisting with room allocations, guest profiles, billing, and reservations
- Ensuring guest information and operational records are updated accurately
- Working closely with Housekeeping to monitor room status and readiness for arrivals
- Liaising with other departments to ensure a smooth and seamless guest journey
- Handling telephone calls, messages, and guest requests in a timely manner
- Supporting the Front Office Manager and Assistant Front Office Manager with the daily running of the department
- Helping to train, guide, and support team members on shift
- Ensuring company procedures, service standards, and health and safety requirements are followed at all times
What we are looking for:
- Previous Front Office experience within a hotel environment
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred
- A strong passion for guest service and hospitality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, professional, and approachable manner
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
