GBS Shared Services Transformation Manager - Finance/HR - Salary £80 - 100k on experience + Bonus
Hybrid Working with onsite client days as required
Opportuinity
Opportunity to join expanding benchmarking, transformation and advisory business focused on improving how organisations operate - particularly Finance, GBS/Shared Services, Procurement, HR and related corporate functions.
Operating with leading clients across Manufacturing, Pharma and Defence sectors with increasing pipeline and clear progression path
- Performance improvement - making functions more efficient, effective and measurable.
- GBS/Shared Services strategy
- Target Operating Model (TOM) design
- Process standardisation and optimisation
- Organisation/service delivery design
- Location and sourcing decisions
- Automation/digital transformation
- ERP-enabled transformation, particularly SAP S/4HANA
- Moving organisations from fragmented functional operations toward a more integrated GBS model.
- Benchmarking clients against peers to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
Skills and Experience
Finance qualification/accounting foundation
- ACCA strongly preferred
- ACA/CIMA potentially relevant
ERP experience
- Strong SAP S/4HANA/ERP understanding
- Ideally has actually worked through ERP-enabled transformation rather than simply being an SAP functional consultant.
- Understands how ERP affects Finance processes and the wider operating model.
GBS experience
Experience within or led a GBS/Shared Services environment
- GBS design/transformation
- Shared Services creation or redesign
- Finance service delivery

- Service management/governance
- Performance improvement
TOM experience - Target Operating Model design and implementation
