A global manufacturing organisation is embarking on a major SAP transformation programme and is seeking an experienced Global SAP S/4HANA Programme Director to lead a multi-country rollout of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud across international operations. This is a business-critical leadership role responsible for delivering a global ERP template, managing system integrator partners, aligning regional stakeholders, and ensuring successful deployment across manufacturing plants and operational sites worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the global rollout of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud across multiple countries and manufacturing operations
- Own overall programme governance, delivery strategy, budget, risk, and executive reporting
- Manage global system integrator and third-party delivery partners
- Drive template standardisation while balancing regional business requirements
- Lead steering committees and engage senior business stakeholders globally
- Oversee deployment planning, cutover, change management, and post go-live stabilisation
- Ensure alignment between business transformation objectives and technology delivery
- Build strong relationships across manufacturing, supply chain, finance, procurement, and operations functions
Essential Experience
- Proven experience leading large-scale global SAP S/4HANA programmes
- Strong hands-on experience delivering SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud transformations
- Manufacturing industry experience is essential
- Experience managing multi-country ERP rollouts in complex operational environments
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Experience managing global SI partners and offshore delivery models
- Track record delivering programmes involving supply chain, operations, production, and plant environments
- Ability to operate effectively in complex, fast-paced international organisations
