Client is building a cloud-native platform in Microsoft Azure to power a new generation of in-house Treasury and Risk Management solutions. A key early deliverable is a new Limit Management Solution, and we are looking for an experienced Agile Delivery Manager to lead delivery and ship the first product increments. This is a hands-on role at the heart of a major technology modernisation programme, working with senior stakeholders, product owners and multi-disciplinary delivery teams.
Role
- Lead and coordinate an agile delivery team to deliver high-quality, incremental value
- Own end-to-end delivery across up to three concurrent initiatives
- Partner closely with Product Owners to define roadmaps aligned to business value
- Drive day-to-day delivery using Scrum, Kanban or hybrid approaches, selecting the right methodology for the team
- Ensure delivery aligns with governance, budgets, financial controls and PMO standards
- Manage delivery risks, dependencies, resourcing and forecasts
- Provide clear, transparent delivery metrics and progress reporting
- Engage confidently with senior stakeholders, sponsors and third-party suppliers
- Contribute to and help shape the Agile Delivery Manager community of practice
Qualifications
- Degree-level education in IT or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Strong experience delivering multi-team agile programmes
- Practitioner-level knowledge of Scrum, Kanban and Lean
- Background in Agile PM, Agile Delivery or Scrum Mastering with a servant-leadership mindset
- Proven track record delivering £2m+ agile programmes within agreed constraints
- Experience managing distributed teams and third-party vendors
- Solid understanding of commercial and procurement processes, including Statements of Work
- Comfortable owning delivery end-to-end: budget, planning, resourcing, tracking and closure
- Resilient, outcome-driven and an excellent communicator who can translate technical detail for non-technical audiences
- Experience delivering greenfield solutions
- Background in Java development on cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
- Exposure to Treasury, Risk or Financial Services systems
