As the Regional Manager (RM) and Registered Manager with CQC, you’ll need to register with CQC after successfully completing a 6-month probation period. Reporting to the Head of Support and Inclusion (HOSI) for England, you’ll be responsible for maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements, including those from CQC, Local Authority Commissioners, and CHC Commissioners. This role is geared towards growth, with an expectation for you to lead on identifying business expansion opportunities within Nottinghamshire and surrounding counties.

A crucial part of your role will be ensuring the people we support are actively involved in all aspects of their care, including staff selection and performance feedback during probation. As part of the senior management team, you’ll regularly meet with the HOSI to plan and achieve the standards set out in our strategic plan., In Nottinghamshire, we support individuals in shared houses and those living alone, assisting with daily living, social interactions, budgeting, personal hygiene, communication, and emotional management. Our Positive Behaviour Support Team works closely with some of the people we support and staff teams, significantly reducing the need for restrictive techniques.

Are you ready to lead and inspire? We’re on the hunt for a passionate Regional Manager to join our Nottinghamshire team. You’ll be at the helm of a dedicated group of 5 Supported Living Managers (SLMs), driving the delivery of outstanding, person-centred outcomes. If you have a knack for working with Multi-Disciplinary Teams and ensuring top-notch support across various locations, we want to hear from you!

With our Manager Development Programme, you’ll receive the support you need to manage, mentor, and elevate the SLMs, aligning with Perthyn’s strategic vision. Your role will involve motivating managers and their teams to achieve excellence. You’ll need to ‘zoom in’ to track individual progress and ‘zoom out’ to analyse regional trends. Proficiency in IT/Database systems for gathering, analysing, and reporting information is a must.

Experience in supporting individuals who communicate through behaviour is a plus, as is knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and the Active Support Model. You’ll collaborate closely with the Positive Behavioural Support team to ensure managers and staff are well-supported and developed in these areas.
