Kinross High School is the venue for this position. This is a full-time permanent post, however applications for part time work will also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • We offer Mathematics, Applications of Mathematics and support Numeracy across the curriculum at all levels.
  • You will be joining a team of high performing practitioners who have a wealth of experience in Mathematics.
  • There is a strong commitment to ensuring that young people engage with the subject and achieve at the highest possible level.
  • We are committed to the development of our staff. Wide ranging CLPL options are available to expand your knowledge and improve your classroom practice. Development posts linked to our improvement plan are renumerated through the commissioned work scheme.
  • Interviews for this post will be held on Friday 26 September 2025 and will include a lesson observation and panel interview (lesson observation for a S3 class, lasting about 40 minutes).

Qualifications & Experience

  • Full GTCS Registration
  • GIRFEC should be at the heart of everything you do and you should have experience in using this to create an inclusive learning environment.
