Opportunity Primary School Support Assistant (Fixed Term until 16 August 2026) – PKC13460; Salary: £3,603 – £3,694 (6.00 hours per week, term-time only); Location: Newhill Primary School. The role involves lunchtime supervision of pupils in the dining room and supporting the day-to-day running of the lunch time experience, alongside colleagues, under the direction of the Head Teacher.
Responsibilities
- Provide lunchtime supervision of pupils in the dining room.
- Support the day-to-day running of the lunchtime experience with colleagues under the Head Teacher’s direction.
Skills & Experience Required
- Organisational skills to plan own workload with attention to detail.
- Communication skills to effectively support pupils and colleagues.
- Positive, supportive and nurturing relationships with children.
- Personable, friendly and flexible demeanor with excellent personal skills.
- Ability to work in a busy large school environment with enthusiasm and flexibility.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team; commitment to delivering high standards of service.
