We currently have the following opportunity at Pitlochry High School:
- Business Assistant - PKC13425 (20 hours per week, term-time only) £12,412 - £13,082
- Primary School Support Assistant - PKC13425 (6 hours per week, term-time only) £3,603 - £3,694
The role of Business Assistant is a term-time only, 20 hours per week post, working between 8:30am and 3:30pm. Pitlochry High School is a busy all-through school with pupils in Nursery, Primary & Secondary. The school is at the centre of the community and family oriented.
The successful candidate will be based in the school office and will be involved in the day-to-day clerical administration of the school. There may also be occasions where you will be required to provide additional pupil support in our Primary. The role mainly involves general office duties, along with answering parental enquiries.
In the role of Primary School Support Assistant, the successful candidate will also have a role in supervising our children during lunchtimes and will require to be First Aid trained (training will be provided). This lunchtime supervision role is a paid 6 hour post at GE2 in addition to the 20 hour Business Assistant role which is grade GE3.

Confidentiality in relation to children, young people and their families is essential.
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
- Excellent communication skills in person, on the phone and by email.
- Ability to demonstrate good working relationships.
- Ability to deal effectively with enquiries and requests by providing information as required.
- Digital skills to operate relevant systems for completing routine tasks.
- Understanding of financial activities to process data. Further training can be provided on this as necessary.
