Perth & Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) is seeking an outstanding Director - Integrated Health & Social Care / Chief Officer to lead the next phase of transformation across one of Scotland's most diverse and dynamic regions. This pivotal role will shape integrated health and social care services for communities spanning remote rural areas, vibrant towns and the city of Perth.
As Chief Officer, you will provide strategic leadership to the Integration Joint Board (IJB), driving high‑quality, person‑centred, sustainable services that enable people to live healthy, active and independent lives. You will lead strategic planning, commissioning and performance across all delegated services, championing prevention, early intervention and tackling health inequalities – one of the area's most significant challenges.
Working jointly with the Chief Executives of NHS Tayside and Perth & Kinross Council, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy, lead major system change, and foster collaborative working across partners including the third and independent sectors, HSCPs in Dundee and Angus, community organisations and wider public services.
We are looking for a visionary, resilient and values‑driven leader with significant senior experience in complex public‑sector systems. You will bring strong strategic capability, political awareness, deep partnership‑working skills and a proven ability to lead transformation, inspire teams and improve outcomes at scale.
Base: Perth & Kinross Council offices, with regular presence at NHS Tayside HQ (hybrid working available)
