Location & Salary: Perth, Scotland £41,833 – £50,359 per annum, pro rata (pay award pending 1 September 2026)

Job Summary: UHI Perth is one of Scotland’s leading Colleges of Further and Higher Education and a large partner in the University of the Highlands and Islands. We are looking for a dynamic lecturer to deliver excellent learning and teaching to our students. Your skills should be current and occupational experience is essential.

Teaching Scope: The department offers courses from SCQF Level 5 to Level 10, from school programmes to honours degrees. The successful postholder will be able to teach across all these levels.

Ideal Candidate: We welcome applications from individuals across all sporting disciplines; however we are specifically interested in applicants with experience and/or qualifications in fitness and physical activity, with CIMSPA membership and accredited status.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Occupational experience in sport and fitness
  • CIMSPA membership and accredited status (preferred)
  • Relevant teaching or industry experience

Additional Requirements: This post involves regulated work with children; a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme check is required and will be verified against the list of those barred from working with children.
