Lecturer – Electrical Installation
Part time, Fixed‑Term for 1 year, 0.5 FTE

About the Role
You will develop and deliver both theoretical and practical teaching in electrical installation and power distribution, preparing learning, teaching and assessment materials, supervising student work, and contributing to the curriculum of the Built Environment, Construction Crafts and Building Services courses.

- Contribute to curriculum development.
Qualifications
You should hold a relevant certificate in Electrical Installation or Power Distribution and an apprenticeship or qualification at SVQ Level 3, PDA/SCQF Level 7 or an equivalent time‑served qualification. Further training will be provided if required. Previous teaching experience is not essential for candidates with appropriate industrial experience.
Additional Requirements
You should be a well‑motivated self‑starter with good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A strong customer focus and an awareness of high standards are required.
