UHI Perth is one of Scotland’s leading Colleges of Further and Higher Education, and a large partner in Scotland’s newest University, the University of the Highlands and Islands.

We are looking to recruit a dynamic, energetic and creative Chef who is passionate about food and willing to share their skills and develop others. You will be part of a team of hospitality and culinary professionals in the hospitality department.

Using your strong culinary skills, training expertise, and knowledge of assessment, you will collaborate with the curriculum team and an external service partner to create a wide variety of high-quality dishes for the daily operations of the Food Court.

The postholder will be responsible for managing, training, and assessing vocational learners at SCQF levels 4, 5, and 6 within the catering operations of the Food Court and the wider hospitality department at UHI Perth.

The position is term time contract, offering an excellent work/life balance, with fixed holiday entitlement and a competitive salary and working conditions.

This post undertakes regulated work with children and protected adults. A Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme check will be made against the list of those barred from working with children and protected adults.
