UHI Perth is one of Scotland’s leading colleges of Further and Higher Education, and a large partner in Scotland’s newest University, the University of the Highlands and Islands. We are currently looking to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified individual to the post of Bank Lecturer in Counselling.
Applicants will hold a diploma in Person Centred counselling (HE) and psychotherapy with significant Person‑Centred experience or have an equivalent qualification. The successful candidate must be COSCA and/or BACP Accredited.
ResponsibilitiesYou will deliver teaching in all aspects of Counselling from COSCA to HNC/HND Counselling (levels 7 & 8). Experience of developing and delivering training or teaching would be beneficial but not essential.
Qualifications & Skills- Diploma in Person Centred counselling (HE) and psychotherapy with significant Person‑Centred experience or equivalent qualification.
- COSCA and/or BACP accredited.
- Clear and confident communication skills, the ability to relate well to others and work as part of a team.
- Good planning and organisational skills, ability to use own initiative, and self‑motivated.
