We currently have an opportunity for a Maths Teacher at St John’s RC Academy.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Maths Teacher who can work collaboratively within a large team. You should have experience of planning, delivering, engaging and stimulating learning experiences which meet the needs of all learners.
About the School
Set at the top of Perth’s North Inch and overlooking the River Tay, St John's RC Academy is at the heart of the North Inch Community Campus. The 2-18 all-through school provides education for over 1200 children and young people from nursery to S6. The campus is a hub of opportunities for the local community, utilising state of the art sports and cultural facilities, offering a wide range of services for all ages. Skills & Experience Required
The successful candidate will be an excellent teacher, with a track record of forming and developing excellent relationships and collaborative working practices with pupils, parents, and staff. You will have excellent communication skills and have experience of positively engaging learners, families, colleagues, and partners. As a Catholic school, the school’s vision and values are rooted in the Gospel. St John’s RC Academy is also a Fairtrade School and the first all-through school in the UK to achieve UNICEF’s Rights Respecting Schools Gold Award. You will be a Teacher who can demonstrate a proven track record in achieving better outcomes for a range of learners delivering all areas of the Maths curriculum. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to motivate, engage and earn the trust of young people as you support their individual and collective needs. You will be a dynamic and enthusiastic individual, keen to take on new challenges, and work creatively with colleagues across our campus.
