As a Teacher of English, you will:
- Deliver high-quality learning and teaching across the Broad General Education (BGE) and Senior Phase, aligned with the Curriculum for Excellence.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in literacy, language, and literature that motivate and challenge learners.
- Support pupils to develop critical thinking, communication, and analytical skills.
- Contribute to raising attainment and closing the poverty-related attainment gap.
- Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress in line with national and local guidance.
- Participate fully in the wider life of the school, including interdisciplinary learning, enrichment activities, and collegiate working practices.

You will have:
- A degree-level qualification in English (or closely related subject).
- A recognised teaching qualification in Secondary Education (English), such as a PGDE Secondary (English) or equivalent.
- Registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS), or eligibility for registration.
