Main Purpose of the Role

We currently have the following opportunities available from August 2026: Teacher of Design Engineering Technology, 2 Posts - PKC13624 £36,159 - £54,453 Perth High School.
This is an exciting time to join our team. Perth High School is a large, friendly and welcoming comprehensive, drawing pupils from a mix of Perth City and rural Perthshire. We are an ambitious school community and are undergoing a significant period of change, having recently moved into our state‑of‑the‑art Passivhaus‑standard building, completed in August 2025.
We are looking for two highly enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our thriving Design Engineering & Technology department as Teachers of Design Engineering and Technology. Please note, we are currently unable to offer sponsorship for this post.
Skills & Experience Required
You should have experience in planning and delivering engaging and stimulating learning experiences that meet the needs of all learners. The successful candidates will be excellent teachers with a track record of forming and developing strong relationships and effective collaborative working practices. You will have excellent communication skills and experience of positively engaging learners, families, colleagues and school partners to improve outcomes for young people. You will be committed to promoting and demonstrating our school values of Ambition, Respect and Equity, acting as an outstanding role model for others.
