Job Description

\n Main Purpose of the Role\n

Working within Perth & Kinross Council is more than a job, it's about being part of an organisation that puts people at the heart of all we do and provides opportunities to make a real difference by enhancing every life we touch.

\n

We currently have the following opportunity:

\n

School Support Worker - PKC14347
\n £17,669 - £18,614 (27.5 Hours per week, Term-time only)
\n Forgandenny Primary School

\n

Forgandenny Primary School is seeking a dedicated, motivated and enthusiastic School Support Worker to join our friendly and welcoming team for 27.5 hours per week.

\n

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of children and young people. From working with children and young people, to supporting the senior leadership team with administrative duties to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the school, the remit of the role is diverse with no two days the same. The job family role profiles are attached. The role may focus on some aspects more than others at different times of the year, but there would be an expectation of flexibility based on the needs of the school.

\n

This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of our school community. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Head Teacher and school staff, undertaking a range of office duties including organising school trips, managing school lunch information, maintaining pupil attendance records, updating management information systems, processing purchase orders and invoices, and supporting the day-to-day financial administration of the school.

\n

As part of a small but busy school, the role extends beyond office administration. You will also work directly with children during breaktimes and lunchtimes and, where required, support learning and teaching activities, school events and wider school initiatives. No two days are the same, and the role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with pupils, staff and families in a supportive and vibrant school community.

\n

At Perth & Kinross Council, we are committed to supporting our employees to develop and thrive. In return for your skills and commitment, you will benefit from being part of a dedicated staff team, access to learning and development opportunities, and the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of children and families within our school community.

\n

Please note, we are currently unable to offer sponsorship for this post.
