An excellent opportunity has arisen for a high calibre finance professional to join the Perth and Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will:

• Lead the Finance Team in producing monthly budget monitoring packs for Senior Management, assist in strategic budget setting and other performance monitoring activities.
• Provide expert financial advice to senior managers and service leads of varying disciplines.
• Support strategic decision making through high quality financial information and analysis.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of savings and transformation and improvement programmes.
• Ensure robust financial controls and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Provide line management duties and mentoring and support to the wider finance team.

Skills & Experience Required

We are seeking an experienced finance professional who combines strong technical expertise with excellent leadership and communication skills:

• Degree-level education.
• Current membership of a recognised CCAB (or CIMA) professional body.
• Commitment to Continued Professional Development (CPD).

You will also have:

• Significant management accounting experience, preferably within a Local Authority, NHS or similarly complex public sector organisation.
• Experience producing and presenting complex financial information to senior officers to support decision making.
• Experience of budget monitoring and scrutiny within a large organisation.
• Experience in leading, managing and developing staff.
• Experience working collaboratively across organisational boundaries and a wide range of stakeholders.
