£3,536 – £3,694 (6 Hours per week, Term-time only)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pupil Support Assistant to join our Primary School team, with responsibility for supervising pupils during school lunchtimes. 

\\n

Please note that this post is a fixed term post, currently temporary until August 2026.

About the School

\\n

The Community School of Auchterarder is an all-through school, comprising Nursery, Primary and Secondary departments serving the community of Auchterarder and surrounding district. 
We have a roll of approximately 1,100 children and young people across all three sectors.  
The school is situated in a rural location, approximately 14 miles south of Perth with good road networks to the rest of Perthshire, Glasgow, Edinburgh and the central belt. Our Associated Primary Schools are Aberuthven, Blackford and Dunning.

Skills & Experience Required

As a Pupil Support Assistant, you will be responsible for supervising pupils during the school lunchtimes, supporting children in the lunch hall and in the playground.

We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate: 

\\n

•    A genuine interest in children and their wellbeing
•    Kindness, Empathy, patience and an ability to engage with children and young people.
•    Confidentiality in relation to children, young people and their families

The working pattern for this post will be Monday to Friday during term-time, 12:10 – 1:22pm.
